Boston, MA — FCLTGlobal, a non-profit organization whose mission is to mobilize companies and investors to focus capital on the long term, today announced the appointment of Olivia White as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 1, 2026. White will succeed Sarah Keohane Williamson, who previously announced her intention to retire after more than a decade leading the organization.

White joins FCLTGlobal from McKinsey & Company, where she serves as Senior Partner and Director of the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI). Over the course of her career, White has advised leading global financial institutions, spearheaded research on long-term economic and market trends, and convened senior leaders around issues of productivity, resilience, and sustainable growth.

As CEO of FCLTGlobal, White will lead the organization’s mission to develop practical tools and actionable research that encourage long-term behaviors in business and investment decision-making.

“Leading FCLTGlobal has been one of the great privileges of my career,” said Sarah Keohane Williamson. “I am incredibly proud of what our team and members have built together to advance long-term value creation globally. Olivia brings exceptional intellectual rigor, strategic insight, and a deep commitment to systems-level thinking. I am confident she is the right leader to guide FCLTGlobal into its next chapter.”

John Graham, Chair of FCLTGlobal’s Board of Directors and President & Chief Executive Officer of CPP Investments, said: “Olivia’s experience advising global institutions, combined with her leadership at the McKinsey Global Institute, makes her exceptionally well-positioned to lead FCLTGlobal. She brings a rare combination of analytical depth, global perspective, and practical leadership that aligns strongly with FCLTGlobal’s mission and ambitions. The Board is delighted to welcome Olivia as the organization’s next CEO.”

Bob Sternfels, Global Managing Partner of McKinsey & Company and a member of FCLTGlobal’s Board of Directors, said: “Olivia is an exceptional leader and strategic thinker who has consistently helped institutions navigate complexity with clarity and long-term perspective. Her commitment to rigorous analysis, practical action, and sustainable value creation makes her uniquely suited to lead FCLTGlobal at this important moment.”

Prior to leading MGI, White advised major financial institutions on strategy, risk, and regulatory transformation and led work on digital financial inclusion and long-term economic development. Her research and leadership have focused on helping organizations navigate structural shifts and build resilience in increasingly complex global environments.

“I am honored to join FCLTGlobal and build on the extraordinary foundation Sarah and the team have established,” said Olivia White. “At a time when long-term thinking is more important than ever, FCLTGlobal plays a vital role in bringing together investors and companies to drive sustainable value creation. I look forward to working with FCLTGlobal’s members and partners to advance that mission globally.”

Sarah Keohane Williamson will continue to serve as CEO until the transition date to ensure a smooth leadership transition.
