Executive Director and Chair of Prudential Supervision, De Nederlandsche Bank
After studying econometrics at the Erasmus university in Rotterdam, Else started a long career at the ABN and later ABN-AMRO bank in Amsterdam. For almost 20 years she held many different positions there, including financial accounting, planning and control, consumer banking, private banking, operations and IT, which together gave her strong insight in the running of a large banking organization.

In 2008 PGGM became a pension service provider and the pension fund took a new name PFZW. Else continued her role on the board of PGGM in different positions, and became the CEO in the beginning of 2013.
