Role Overview
The Associate Director, Member Engagement, plays a vital role in ensuring that every current and prospective FCLTGlobal member has high-quality, proactive engagements with the organization. This role supports the relationship management team by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for member engagement, coordinating outreach, and helping to execute customized engagement plans for each member organization.
The ideal candidate will have a client-service mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously. They will be highly detail-oriented, comfortable using Salesforce and other systems to monitor and analyze data, and motivated to deliver meaningful connections between FCLTGlobal and its global member community.
This role reports to the Managing Director, Global Relationships and works closely with the broader Membership, Research, Programs, and Communications teams.
Key Responsibilities
Support Relationship Managers (RMs) in Member Engagement
- Partner with RMs (3) to understand each member organization’s priorities, key contacts, and engagement history.
- Help develop and maintain tailored engagement plans for each member, identifying opportunities for calls, events, research participation, and other touchpoints.
- Proactively reach out to members to schedule calls, confirm attendance at events, share research updates, and follow up on action items.
- Support RM-led meetings by preparing briefing materials, taking detailed notes, and drafting follow-up correspondence.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce, ensuring that every interaction and engagement is logged and visible to the broader team.
Monitor and Report on Member Engagement KPIs
- Leveraging Salesforce as the core CRM, track engagement metrics across the membership portfolio — including meeting frequency, event participation, research collaboration, and other key indicators.
- Identify members with declining or at-risk engagement and flag them for follow-up.
- Create / maintain regular reports and dashboards summarizing engagement trends and progress against team goals.
- Contribute to weekly membership meetings by sharing updates on KPIs, outreach activity, and upcoming priorities.
Execute Membership Campaigns and Engagement Activities
- Coordinate outbound outreach campaigns to members for upcoming events, research opportunities, and special initiatives.
- Support RM follow-up after key engagements to reinforce FCLTGlobal’s value and maintain relationship momentum.
- Assist with the delivery of member on-boarding, renewals, and retention touchpoints to ensure a seamless experience throughout the membership cycle.
- Draft professional, tailored communications and outreach messages aligned with FCLTGlobal’s tone and brand.
Contribute to the Membership Hub
- Help refine and standardize tools, templates, and workflows that improve consistency and efficiency across the membership function.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of Salesforce dashboards, engagement tracking systems, and internal best practices.
- Collaborate with the Research, Programs, and Communications teams to identify opportunities for cross-functional engagement.
Support Prospect Engagement and Business Development
- Assist in tracking outreach, meetings, and engagement activities with prospective members.
- Help maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, ensuring accurate and current information in Salesforce.
- Coordinate follow-up communications and next steps after prospect meetings, in collaboration with the Managing Director and Relationship Managers.
- Prepare tailored briefing notes and background research on prospective member organizations to support business development conversations.
- Support the execution of outreach campaigns, invitations, and communications aimed at converting prospects into active members.
- Contribute to reports summarizing prospect activity, progress, and conversion metrics for leadership review.
Manage Membership Invoicing
- Follow the invoicing process to issue invoices and engage with member invoicing teams as necessary through payment; share invoice status updates with relationship managers and engage for follow up as required
Success in This Role Will Look Like
- Engagement: Every member has a clear, active plan and multiple touchpoints throughout the year.
- Organization: Engagement data and plans are always accurate, visible, and up to date in Salesforce.
- Proactivity: Members and prospects hear from FCLTGlobal before they need to reach out — for opportunities, events, and relationship touchpoints.
- Impact: Relationship Managers can focus on high-value strategic conversations because outreach and tracking are managed efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a client service, membership, sales support, or investor relations environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Comfort using Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms) to manage and analyze data, or a demonstrated ability to learn software use and management
- Professional maturity, discretion, and the ability to collaborate with senior executives across cultures and industries.
- Positive, proactive, and collaborative approach with a growth mindset.
- Experience working in a mission-driven or global organization is a plus.
- Comfortable using / experimenting with new and emerging technology that can help with the quality and efficiency of our work.

- Location: Boston, MA (hybrid work environment)
- FCLTGlobal offers a collaborative culture, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work with a global community of leaders focused on long-term value creation.
- Expected Compensation: USD85 – 105K base with 15% bonus target
