Jess Gaspar

As Head of Research, Gaspar will shape the organization’s research agenda, oversee its research staff, and work with external stakeholders, including FCLTGlobal’s members, to advance key objectives.

Gaspar brings with him over 20 years of experience in research and strategy, most recently as Head of Global Research, Multi-Asset Solutions at AllianceBernstein from 2016 to 2022, where he built a global research team responsible for strategic asset allocation, systematic tactical asset allocation, risk and retirement for $100bn+ division. From 2008 to 2016, Gaspar was Head of Asset Allocation and Research at CommonFund, where he created the team responsible for designing asset allocations for endowments and foundations. Previously, he held positions at McKinsey & Company, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the World Bank, and Compagnie Generale D’informatique.

Gaspar holds a PhD in International Economics from Stanford University and a B.S. from MIT in Environmental Engineering.
